I think the samsanov deal is a good one. at around 2 mil a season he wont take up too much cap room, and I think he knows he has to keep his game up so he doesnt get put on waivers or dropped to the minors. Hopefully he will work hard this summer to get back into the game. Looking at the depth chart i dont think left wing is a problem with Sergei and Rutuu staying, brookbank and bayde go back down to the minors. We are a bit heavy at Center, especially if Sutter comes up next year. Jensen hits up albany again, but what about Aucoin and Hamilton who spent some time with the big team this year? Right wing is a little short. Defense is hurting bad... I respect the heck out of the man, but I think Wesley might need to hang it up.. he gives 110% every shift, but always seems a little slow or behind the play. I think John Grahme is gone, bring up Leighton who played very well in his 5 games this year, or bring in another older, experienced backup (who's not already over the hill). Shore up defense and goal next year and we make the playoffs and contend in the east. Just my 2 cents.
