How about them Rags? They had a shaky start at the beginning of the season (rightfully so) but I knew they had a dangerous team if they could get things clicking. Until hockey came to town, I was a fan since the 80&#039;s when I picked a team at random following the miracle on ice - my introduction to the best sport on earth. (Hey... I was a kid. Kids do that.)

Going back in time a little, the missus and I were at the game last Friday. In fact, I was one of the 170 finalists for the house that showed up. The party was good. The barbecue was authentic. The hushpuppies excellent. The &#039;celebs&#039; that drew names, I didn&#039;t know, but they were decent looking people. I&#039;ll let my memory of that day end with that. Ah yes. Pleasant.

Oh - by the way: The lady who won the house is from South Carolina. She&#039;s a sweeper (one of those folks who enters sweepstakes constantly) and NEEDED the money. Unfortunately I hear she&#039;s not being allowed to give the house to the developer for the money (and this is the usual thing people do after they win this type of prize). Instead they&#039;re offering a consolation amount of around 100K after taxes. What&#039;s up with that?!
