I imagine there are more than a few people that are feeling a bit gypped right now....

Way to go, AQ! Nice podcast.

How about them Rags? They had a shaky start at the beginning of the season (rightfully so) but I knew they had a dangerous team if they could get things clicking. Until hockey came to town, I was a fan since the 80's when I picked a team at random following the miracle on ice - my introduction to the best sport on earth. (Hey... I was a kid. Kids do that.)

Going back in time a little, the missus and I were at the game last Friday. In fact, I was one of the 170 finalists for the house that showed up. The party was good. The barbecue was authentic. The hushpuppies excellent. The 'celebs' that drew names, I didn't know, but they were decent looking people. I'll let my memory of that day end with that. Ah yes. Pleasant.

Oh - by the way: The lady who won the house is from South Carolina. She's a sweeper (one of those folks who enters sweepstakes constantly) and NEEDED the money. Unfortunately I hear she's not being allowed to give the house to the developer for the money (and this is the usual thing people do after they win this type of prize). Instead they're offering a consolation amount of around 100K after taxes. What's up with that?!

Keep writing,
Lou
