In fact, they outplayed the Caps for stretches of the first and second periods, and overall it was a pretty even game. FLA hit at least two posts/crossbars when the game was still anybody's to win. You said it yourself in a recent post(albeit in reference to the league and the refs--and thanks for disabusing sundry Canes fans of the silly notion): there really isn't any collusion or conspiracy.
