They've got great grassroots support, decent media coverage (#2 pro game in town after the Titans), and a good atmosphere in their arena (albeit with a few chintzy expansion-team affectations, like "Fang Fingers"), even for an October matchup with Phoenix (speaking of failing markets...) with only 13K people present. It's the business community that apparently wouldn't do shit for them, whether it's Leipold's fault or their own. But I'd have to say Wayne's Little Toy (A Decade of Desert Dismality!) and the Sunrise Pussycats (has anyone given a shit there since 1997?) would've been my picks to move north long before the Preds.
