ahem.
This season’s team is reminding me more and more of the 05-06 Lightning. Same slack play, same “yeah, we’re champs–fuck it” attitude…the only thing that we don’t have is a mouthy Italian coach. Well that, and our captain didn’t get waived.
I think that the ‘Canes can take a page from the Lightning of last season, and keep the core of the team together rather than wigging out and trading everyone. I mean, look at this season. The Lightning lead the Division again now, and I don’t think they’re quite done yet–and they’ve done it with many of the same guys that they had last season and the season before.
Just sayin’.

Ahh, the Canes would be fine if they had decent goaltending. Cam Ward has been horrible and is not supporting a great offense.
