Loading ...I listened to the game last night while engaging in some apartment-cleaning and cat wrangling, and everything sounded fine until Marian Hossa tied the game.
The aliens took their cue from that, and replaced the Hurricanes with the Pod People. When the score went up 3-1 in a matter of about a minute or so, I just kinda sighed and went back to Mr. Muscle-ing the oven. Oh well, right?
I’ve got some more thoughts on the “OMF TRAID TEH ENTIAR TEAM!!!1″ foolishness that’s flooding the message boards, but I’ll hold off on them until later today.

If people are saying we should trade the team after last night’s game, they didn’t bother to watch it.
Both sides fought *hard* — there was a lot of contact, and we both played pretty well. We were a little sloppy with passing at times but made it up by actually crashing the goal (something we’ve not done enough of for a while).
It was a damn close game, all the way up to the end, when everyone looked exhausted and things fell apart.
We played our asses off, and the game could have very easily gone the other way if it wasn’t for a lucky goal and then them pushing some through right at the end.
Rick - problem with that is that some moron at FSN decided we could NOT watch it.

I sencond what Rick said - I watched the game, and it was the first time in a long time the boys looked like they were playing with intensity for more than short stretches.
Felt really bad for Cam on that fluke Hossa goal.
This game could have gone either way up to the very end. I’m disappointed they lost - but it sure beats the way they lost to the Rangers last week.
They’ll rebound.
Be nice if JR would bring in a bit of support, tho.
