Gewgul Vidyuh and the Trashers; OffWing feels the Remo Love

Hey y’all–watch this!

Complete NHL games archived here

And apparently this is done with the League’s blessing–so of course I am all ABOUT sitting here getting nothing done while watching a whole raft of complete games (minus commercials and, from what I see so far, intermission interviews and stuff). It’s free for the first two weeks of this month, and after that you have to pay–but I would do it if it meant I could watch a particular game over and over again from the comfort of my computer chair.

*ahem*

Last night, the ‘Canes burned Atlanta like they were the second coming of General Sherman and his boys–then they went down to Savannah for dinner at The Lady and Sons before heading back up here to R’lyeh. OK, so I made that last part up. But the part about them giving Atlanta teh beatdown is true.

Anyway. The last 10 games have been kind to the ‘Canes, who made it through with a 6-3-1 record. In about….seven games, I’ll render my judgement on the season so far (and have a few choice words for the Idiot Brigade). Yeah, I know all four of you who still read this blog are just eagerly awaiting that. I’ll do my best to not disappoint.

And finally, I’m not the only one who has the love for Remo Williams–it took actually watching the guy in action to finally get McErlain on board, but now he sees what I’ve been seeing since Remo was in Nashville.

I was actually at the home game against Atlanta last week and Remo did his thing then, too. Love that guy!

Also, did you note that the Warchief had two goals in last night’s game? And, marked his 1,200th NHL appearance? And, is 5 points away from 1,000 career points! YOW!!!….sorry, got a little crush on the guy….

I’ve been all about the Remo love since he was in Nashville–dudeman has made a career out of busting his ass, and as much as I liked Joe I’m very very happy about the trade so far.

And don’t get me started about our Warchief, because this comment will be longer than any post I’ve ever made. When my nephew grows up, I’m going to give him archived videos of the entire Cup season so that he can learn about the man he shares a birthday with.

Yay for lady and sons… love that place.

I love how Brindy gets all the press for being a defensive forward (which he is.. and the best in the league I might add) but he can bury them as good as the next guy and has a million assists. He is an amazing all-around player.

After not scoring in his first four games, Brind’Amour is averaging two points per game. In nine games.

Needless to say, I’m very happy to have him in one of my fantasy pools. :)
