The schedule is out, and I’m already saving my pennies for a NW Division roadtrip. It’s good to see that the Southeast Division matchups are a little more spread out, and I’m willing to bet that FlyersTV OLN Versus has already planned to show Rangers-Flyers again. Of course, I could be all wet; I’ll find out for sure when the TV schedule comes out (and then you can all hear me rant once again about how OLN sucks worse than Bristol ever did, and how the NHL created its own marketing nightmare by pushing the same five teams over and over at the expense of the little guys).
In other news, I’ve decided to embark on a new hobby: homebrewing. Be afraid, be very afraid.

I brew beer. It has the potential to drastically cut into one’s blogging time.

Well it’s all up in the air right now, but IF I can pull it off I’d like to hit all three Canadian stops and then the stop in Denver (so I can visit my sister/brother in law and my nephew). It’s all a matter of seeing if it’s financially feasible, really.

Mead. There’s a friend of mine that’s working on getting the proper permits to start a commercial meadery on his property, and he’s willing to teach me the finer points of meadmaking. That, and I prefer mead to beer, and brewing my own would be a lot better than dropping $20 at the local Whole Foods every time I want to get a bottle.
Argh bring me some grog… hope u can make the road trip. Is it back to back in AB. I will probably be at the the Flames game. Oiler Fan in enemy territory,,,
